Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

• Day : 1 NJP/Bagdogra to Sillery Gaon – Scenic Escape (Approx. 4.5–5 hrs)

  After pick up, start your wonderful trip to the Silk route starting from Sillery Gaon, a god gifted gem in the hills. Sillerygaon is a picture-perfect hamlet in Kalimpong district of West Bengal & it is at an elevation of 6000 ft. Check into the Homestay and after lunch take a Nature walk around Sillery Gaon and explore the village & evening enjoy the sunset with hot snacks and tea. If you would like to relax and see Kanchenjunga from your cottage for a few days, this is the place for you. Sillerygaon is a magical place to spend time in leisure. You can see the snow-capped Kanchenjunga through the windows of your room.

• Day : 2 Sillery Gaon to Aritar – Nature & Heritage Trail (Approx. 2.5–3 hrs)

  Early morning, enjoy the sunrise from Ramitey View Point (45 minutes walking). After that, for a perfect destination for a tourist in search of enchantment, trekking, the land of monasteries, mystic rituals, festivals, Aritar is at an elevation of 4600ft, bounded by Mount Kanchenjunga, a place characterized by lush forests, mountains, and lakes. The distance between Sillery Gaon to Aritar is 51km. The afternoon is free for leisure. Enjoy the nearby Lampokhori lake, which is worth visiting. Aritar is in the East Sikkim district of Sikkim, known for its natural and landscaped beauty, which is worth a visit. The Aritar Lake, which is known as Ghati-Tso, is also a nearby attraction.

• Day : 3 Aritar to Rongpokhola – Riverside Retreat (Approx. 2–2.5 hrs)

  After breakfast, set off on a picturesque drive to the tranquil village of Rongpokhola. Upon arrival, savor a riverside lunch while soaking in the soothing sounds of the flowing Rangpo River. Nestled at an altitude of 3,000 feet, Rongpokhola is a serene haven in East Sikkim, tucked along the riverbanks and surrounded by dense forests and misty hills. Spend your afternoon enjoying the refreshing waters—take a dip or try your hand at fishing in the crystal-clear stream. As evening descends, unwind with an optional barbecue and cozy campfire by the riverside (available on spot payment). End the day with a hearty dinner, embraced by nature’s calm.

• Day : 4 Rongpokhola to Zuluk – The Historic Silk Route Drive (Approx. 3.5–4 hrs)

  After breakfast, begin your uphill journey to the enchanting village of Zuluk, with a stop at the beautiful Kuikhola Waterfalls—a serene cascade surrounded by lush greenery. En route, halt at Rongli to complete the mandatory Inner Line Permit formalities. Perched at an altitude of 10,100 feet, Zuluk is a remote yet fascinating village nestled in the Eastern Himalayas. Once a key transit point on the ancient Silk Route connecting Tibet and India, Zuluk now offers breathtaking views, winding roads, and untouched natural beauty. After lunch, take time to explore the village, soak in the panoramic mountain vistas, and enjoy a peaceful evening at leisure in this high-altitude haven.

• Day : 5 Zuluk to Gangtok – Mountain Views to Urban Vibes (Approx. 5–6 hrs)

  After breakfast, embark on a memorable journey covering some of East Sikkim's most iconic high-altitude destinations. Visit Tukla Valley, Nathang Valley, the scenic Kalipokhri Lake, the revered Old Baba Mandir, Jelep-La Pass, and the striking Elephant Lake at Kupup. Continue onward to New Baba Mandir and the serene Changu Lake before finally reaching Gangtok. The evening is free for leisure and relaxation.

  Please note: For Gangtok, Sumo/Bolero vehicles will drop guests at the designated Taxi Stand. Pick-up on the following day will be arranged from the same location—either Deorali Taxi Stand or District Court area.

  Important: In case the Nathang to Gangtok road is closed due to heavy snowfall, a diversion route will be used and additional charges may apply.
