Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

• Day : 1 Welcome to arrival point and transfer to Kolakham

  Meet and Greet at NJP/ IXB/ Bus stand and proceed towards Kolakham, a small village nestled in Neora Valley Reserve Forest facing the Eastern Himalayan peak. The place located at an altitude of 6500ft is a paradise for nature lovers. Kolakham Nature Retreat is set amidst Oak, Rhododendron and Pine forests, and overlooking the snow-clad Himalaya, this is an ideal getaway for those who wish to explore pristine mountain wilderness. Wake up to the sweet melody of birds. The majestic view of Kanchenjunga from Kolakham village, the jungle trail in the Neora forest, the scenic beauty of Change waterfalls is once in a lifetime experience for anyone. Adventurous minded people can refresh their minds with a short trek around Kolakham.

• Day : 2 Kolakham Sightseeing and Transfer to Lolegaon via Lava

  After breakfast, start for Kolakham Sightseeing Tour and proceed towards Lolegaon. 

  Changi Falls - Changi, Changey or Chaney falls just 3 km jeep drive and 1.5 km walk down through nicely built staircases and rest hut takes you to the most beautiful falls in the deep forest of Darjeeling Hills. It is the only falls in the deep forest which can be reached by tourists by jeep ride and a walk down to around 250 stairs. In the deep forest of Neora Valley Forest with sounds of rare tropical birds like Wagtail, Minivet and others make your journey a memorable one. 

   Lava Monastery: After breakfast, you can start your day as a pilgrim by paying a visit to the Lava Monastery which stands on the top of a hill and is visible from the Lava. (if open)

  After finishing the sightseeing, proceed towards Lolegaon - a small tiny village in the Kalimpong Sub Division of Darjeeling district and one of the most beautiful places in the Darjeeling village. One can cover this place on foot in barely a couple of minutes.

• Day : 3 Lolegaon to Rishop

  After check- out, proceed towards Rishop, Enroute covering

  Canopy Walk - The most beautiful attraction of Lava Lolegaon Package Tour is the canopy walk. Kanchenjunga and other snow-capped mountain peaks. Rest of the day is free for personal enjoyment.

• Day : 4 Rishop to Kalimpong

  Early morning visit Tiffindara for sunrise:

  Tiffindara (Soft Trek): 3 Km uphill soft trek to Tiffindara through dense forest is a memorable experience for every tourist in Rishyap / Rishop.
