• Day : 1 ARRIVAL AT BAGDOGRA AIRPORT (IXB)/ NJP RAILWAY STATION/ SILIGURI & TRANSFER TO GANGTOK(125 Kms/5 Hr)

  Welcome to the Cleanest State in India - Sikkim, and transfer to the capital city. As the aircraft lands at the nearest airport, our representative waits outside to meet & greet on arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and drives towards Gangtok (Alt.5550Ft/1675M). The drive is about 4 hours following the most scenic way through the beautiful lanes of Sikkim along with the picturesque Teesta River. On arrival, check into the beautiful view rooms of the hotel well equipped with modern amenities and sink into the soft bed to get off the exhaustion. In the evening, take a stroll in the neighborhood or enjoy some hot coffee sitting on the balcony while admiring the beauty of the place.

• Day : 2 DAY EXCURSION TO CHANGU LAKE, BABA MANDIR & NATHULA PASS

  As the morning sores in, the warm rays of the sun knock through the window to give a startup call for the second day. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in its peaceful surroundings, and load the bags with dry foods before leaving for a full-day trip to Tsomgo Lake with Baba Mandir / Nathula Pass Excursion.

   

  New Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir - The Baba Mandir was built in the Memorial of Baba Harbhajan Singh or the 'Hero of Nathula', a soldier in the Indian Army. It is situated at a distance of 12 km from Tsomgo Lake, and 52 km from Gangtok City. Baba Harbhajan served as a part of the border patrol force, and in the year 1968 while escorting a mule column he felts on a fast-flowing stream and got carried away by the powerful water current. 

   

  Tsomgo Lake (12400ft) - Also known as Changu Lake is an oval-shaped glacial lake that is only 40 km from Gangtok City, and almost about 1 km in length with 15 meters in depth. The name Tsomgo is made of two words in Bhutia Language 'Tso' means 'lake' and 'Mgo' means 'head' in the short 'source of the lake'. 

   

  Nathula Pass - A major mountain pass in the Himalayas in East Sikkim district, which is a corridor of passage between India and Tibet before it was closed in 1962 but reopened in 2006. Located around 56 km from Gangtok at an altitude of 14450 ft.

   

  Nathula Pass is closed on Monday/Tuesday & the permit depends on the weather conditions and it's always on an extra payment basis.

• Day : 3 GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

  Post breakfast, start for a tour in and around Gangtok. 

  Tashi View Point -Located in Tashi about 8 Km from Gangtok town built by Tashi Namgyal, which offers a panoramic view of Mt Kanchenjunga on a clear day. Binocular and Telescopes are mounted at the viewpoint

  Gonjang Monastery- The monastery is located 6 Km away from Gangtok near Tashi View Point. This monastery was established in the year 1981 and the founder is H.E. Tingkye Gonjang Rimpoche. He got recognition as an incarnation of Yolmo Terton Ngakchang Shakya Zangpo, a 15th-century Nyingmapa Terton.

  Do-drul Chorten- The huge Stupa or monument built by the Venerable Trullshi Rimpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism, in 1945. Inside the stupa, there is a complete set of Dorjee Phurba (Vajra Kilaya), a set of Kang Gyur relics (Holy Book), complete Zung(mantras) and other religious objects. Around the Chorten, there are 108 Mani Lhakor (Prayer Wheels) all of which have mantras inscribed on them in Tibetan.

  Namgyal Institute of Tibetology- It is considered a prestigious and renowned research institute of its kind in the world, NIT is a treasure of a vast collection of rare Lepcha, Tibetan, and Sanskrit manuscripts, statues, and rare Thangkas (colorful tapestries used in Buddhist liturgy). Apart from an attractive museum, it has over 200

  Tsukla Khang Monastery or Palace Monastery- This monastery is located inside the complex of Tsuklakhang royal palace of the Chogyal, the former rulers of Sikkim, and is the most accessible monastery within the city.

  White Memorial Hall - A two-storied structure with typical British architecture, the hall built in the year 1932. The hall gets its name not because they paint it white but as they construct it in the memory of Sir John Claude.

  Gangtok Ropeway- One of the major attractions of Gangtok is the cable car ride at Deorali. The ropeway has entry points or stops with the lowest point being the Deorali market, Nam Nang as mid-point, and the highest point valleys, the flowing river along with the mesmerizing view of the Gangtok city and snow-covered Mt.Kanchenjunga. 

  As the sightseeing ends for the day back at the Hotel, an evening is free to roam around the MG Marg where one can taste the Sikkim delicacies at local restaurants or spend some bucks in shopping handicrafts and other items.

• Day : 4 GANGTOK TO DARJEELING TRANSFER

  Soon after the vibrant Sun Rays have begun to warm the day, a shrill noise from the bustling city wakes you up as the locals begin their daily chores. Let your tummy fill with the morning delicacies before Checking out from Gangtok & drive for 4 hours towards Darjeeling (Alt 7100Ft/ 2100M).

   

  The Queen of Hills Darjeeling - a gem of a place known for its youthful vibe combined with modern as well as colonial charm. The dreamy town is situated at an altitude of 7100 ft, surrounded by tall mountains, coniferous trees, and a green tea plantation. Darjeeling is a favored spot for everyone whether it's a tourist, trekker, photographer, artist, or botanist apart from its World-famous Darjeeling Tea.

   

  On arrival, check in at the hotel surrounded by Mother Nature with big, clean rooms facing Mt. Kanchenjunga standing head up high. In the afternoon or evening, stroll about and shop -

   

  Chowrasta & Darjeeling Mall- The heart of Victorian Darjeeling, this place is the commercial hub, set on the ridge above Darjeeling town, dotted with many curious centers and other shops selling excellent blended Darjeeling tea. There are many heritage and old stores lined up inside of the roads which sell unique handicrafts items along with food stalls selling hot dim sum, thus. Young children can enjoy a pony ride in the mall while elders can sit on the benches and feel the real vibe of Darjeeling while watching the people and their activities.

• Day : 5 DARJEELING LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

  
  As the chilly night continues to dominate over Darjeeling this day calls to wake up even before the sun to witness the stunning view of sunrise from the viewpoint along with a full-day city tour Post breakfast.

   

  Early morning visit to -

   

  Tiger Hill Sunrise Point - An early morning visit to Tiger hill is perfect to witness the unforgettable sunrise over the snow-covered peaks of the majestic Himalayas. 

   

  Batasia Loop - The Batasia Loop is a spiral narrow-gauge railway track where the Toy Train negotiates a sudden sharp descent from Ghoom. This place provides a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains with a 360-degree view of the Darjeeling  

   

  Ghoom Monastery (If Open) - Yiga Monastery or Old Ghoom Monastery is one of the oldest Tibetan monasteries in Darjeeling build in the year 1850 and below the Ghoom railway station. 

   

  Back to Hotel for breakfast and freshen up before heading towards the city tour.

   

  Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park - Also known as Darjeeling Zoo is now one of the best zoos in the world after bagging the International Earth Hero Award in 2014. The unique feature of this zoo is, it houses animals of high altitude, and mostly from the upper Himalayas with rare animals like Red Pandas, Snow Leopards, Tibetan Wolf, etc. 

   

  Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday) - HMI is a pilgrimage for all climbing enthusiasts of the world. Established in honor of Tenzing Norgay, it has a well-stocked museum with mountaineering displays and many expedition artifacts. 

   

  Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda -Also known as Darjeeling Peace Pagoda are on the Jalapahar hill. and this place is the house of four avatars of Buddha. Close to it is the Peace Pagoda, where it showcases the four large avatars of Lord Buddha.

   

  Tenzing Rock & Gombu Rock -This huge and giant natural rock named Tenzing Norgay who created history after climbing Mt. Everest is at Lebong Cart Road, also known as Monkey Rock. 

   

  Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre -  The help center was established on 1st October 1959, to rehabilitate the Tibetan refugees who followed Dalai Lama and escaped from Tibet. 

  Rangeet Valley Passenger Ropeway - Also known as The Darjeeling Ropeway is the perfect spot to enjoy the breathtaking view of the valley below with the dreamy Darjeeling town

   

  You can also enjoy the World UNESCO Heritage world-famous Darjeeling railway or the Toy Train to Ghoom
